Release of training brochure

Since the official opening of the Snowdonia Space Centre (SSC) in May 2025, Newton and its SSC partner, Snowdonia Aerospace LLP, have received a number of enquiries regarding the use the site as a training venue. In response to these enquiries, Newton has produced a brochure to highlight the many facilities that the SSC has to offer and how they could be used as the basis for training courses, educational activities and competitions. It is envisaged that courses would be largely practical in nature, giving delegates the opportunity to build and test hardware (on the ground and in flight) to complement classroom style tuition.

Three types of courses are envisaged:

• Public courses open to individuals or groups (run by the Space Centre partners)
• Tailored courses for employers wanting to provide training in specific technology areas
• Academic modules for universities (given by university staff with our support)
