Newton Launch Systems has teamed up with Aspirespace, the UK's leading amateur rocketry society to support the society's ongoing development of innovative rocket technology. Two of Newton's co-founders can trace their rocketry roots to their membership of Aspirespace in the 1990s, so it is pleasing to be able to share the benefits of Newton's commercial activities with the amateur group by sponsoring their rocket development programme. Newton Director Martin Heywood said, "The UK has a thriving amateur rocketry scene, which has kept rocket science alive in the UK despite the lack of a national space launcher. Aspirespace exemplifies the spirit of the amateur community in which innovation and a love of rocketry triumph over the technical and financial challenges of building and operating rocket vehicles.
